Tory MP Miriam Cates said in a show with LBC presenter, Iain Dale, that she won't be wearing a mask on public transport after the July 19 reopening date due to people wanting to see her face when they speak. Dale blasted at her:

How can you be so irresponsible?
According to The Independent, a leading scientist has warned that COVID cases could rise to 200,000 a day, after the Prime Minister announced that masks and social distancing will not be enforced after July 19.
The people's decision
Cates, who completely agrees with the Prime Minister's decision to go ahead with scrapping wearing masks and social distancing, reiterated that people have the prerogative to do whatever works best for them. She said:
And if people want to continue wearing face masks, and I think they will on public transport crowded public transit, that is their decision.
Dale bluntly asked if Cates would do so to which she said no. The radio host was shocked by her answer.
