However, it is quite rare and extremely worrying to have a slew of product recalls from the same company over a very short period of time. As reported by Delish, Trader Joe's has just issued its 6th product recall over a period of just 5 weeks, and shoppers are both worried and confused as to what's happening with the popular store.
The products that have been recalled by Trader Joe
The latest Trader Joe's items to join the recall list is: Texas Tamale Company's Gourmet Black Bean Tamales. These tamales are being recalled as they 'may contain undeclared milk.'
This product has been sold only in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Trader Joe has urged those who brought the products to return them to the store immediately for a full refund.
Earlier, on August 17, Trader Joe had recalled Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds. The reason is that the crackers 'may contain metal.'
The products recalled by Trader Joe's in the last few weeks are as follows:
- Fully Cooked Falafel, for containing potential foreign material-rocks
- Almond Windmill Cookies and Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies, for possibly containing rocks

The quality of their food has consistently gone down. I knoww ppl love them. But Joe doesn't seem to love y'all back loll. Food is just overly complicated in the US. Ain't no easy way around it.
People have already been fed up with how supermarkets and the food industry seems to be becoming more and more unreliable. As one consumer on Xwrites,
I don't trust Aldi's and who knows where their food came from. And I certainly stay away from Trader Joe's-- they've had more food recalls in the last few years than any store.
