There are major delays in Nottingham as a ‘major incident’ has caused 6 roads to be closed, as reported by Sky News. The Nottingham Express Transit (NET) has stopped all services as a police investigation is underway.

A ‘major incident’ in Nottingham
On Tuesday, June 13, two people were found dead just after 4 am in Ilkeston Road. Officers were then called over to Milton Street after a van tried to run three people over, which the police believe is a connected incident.
Those who were injured have been treated in hospital. A third person was found dead on Magdala Road, which was also close by.
The police have made an arrest
As reported by Sky News, the police have arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
Chief Constable Kate Meynell explained that they believe all three incidents are connected.
This investigation is at its early stages and a team of detectives is working to establish exactly what has happened

Closed roads due to the incident
As a result, a number of roads have been closed to aid the police’s investigation. Indeed, Ilkeston Road, Milton Street, Maples Street, and Woodborough Road, from the junction with Magdala Road into the city have all been closed off.
