Olga Skabeyeva's 60 Minutes is one of the most popular anti-Western and pro-war shows on Vladimir Putin’s state TV but this time its speakers seem to have outdone themselves.
Guest pundit and China expert Nikolai Vavilov suggested that Russia should control the entire Europe because it’s ‘a huge power’ and simply because ‘that's the way it was’.
These are the capital cities Vavilov wants to target.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claims that Vladimir Putin doesn't have many years left to live, here are the details.
Russian imperial ambitions have no geographic limit
Russian state TV issued yet another ominous warning to European citizens.
Olga Skabeyeva's 60 Minutes show often features speakers with radical views but this Monday's episode was so controversial that some fragments of it went viral.
The show’s guest pundit and China expert Nikolai Vavilov suggested that, when Russia is done with Ukraine, it could pursue the domination of the whole of Europe.
The speaker gave some examples of his country’s presence in the West, most notably in France and Germany, and predicted that it was to happen in the future again.
Vavilov said:
We will increasingly acquire the role that the Russian Empire had. I didn't joke in the last programme that Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Ljubljana, everything will be ours.
His shocking comments have gone viral on Twitter and have been shared by Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Vavilov added:
Why? That's the way it was. You see, when we entered Paris in 1815, and Berlin in 1941 at the end of the 18th century- this is not an accident.
Russia is the greatest country in Europe, a huge power.
Olga Skabeyeva lamented the fact that Russia left the 'conquered' and was ‘irresponsible’ about its victories.

The more Russia loses in Ukraine the more it wants to conquer
This demonstration of imperial ambitions on state TV came on the same day when Ukraine reported heavy losses among Russian soldiers.
They said that more than 250,000 Putin’s fighters have been killed since the conflict started in February 2022.
These numbers differ considerably from Kremlin's official information, although Moscow doesn’t normally publish such statistic citing state secrecy.
It has been earlier reported that the Russian army has been struggling with insubordination and a broken chain of command and that Kremlin employees turned to heavy drinking due to war fatigue.
Most recently it emerged that Vladimir Putin's forces had a hard time to handle Kyiv's counteroffensive.
According to the UK's Ministry of Defence, the Russian Army in southern Ukraine is ‘highly likely struggling with battle fatigue and attrition in forward deployed regiments which have been in intense combat for over eight weeks’.
The British intel also revealed that Putin’s commanders are 'highly likely to include shortage of artillery ammunition, a lack of reserves and problems securing the flanks of units in the defence’.
