1. Meghan Markle and her royal obligations: Season 7 of "Suits" will air again on the 28th March but the show has already been approved for an eighth season. Scheduled for next year, it will not feature two of the main actors, Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle. Meghan and Prince Harry will marry in May this year and according to Buckingham Palace protocol, the young actress has had to give up the role so she can fulfill her obligations as Princess.
2. The replacement: Having tried incredibly hard to try and find a replacement for the American actress, producers have called on Katherine Heigl to fill the position. For five years, Heigl played the famous Izzie Stevens in Grey's Anatomy. In "Suits" Heigl will play the role of a new lawyer, Samantha Wheeler, who will undoubtedly wreak havoc in the Pearson Specter Litt offices. Speaking about her new role, Heigl said 'I have watched "Suits" from the very beginning and feel incredibly lucky to be the newest member of the Pearson Specter Litt family'. Filming for the new season 8 has not yet started.
