Princess to be Meghan Markle and Prince harry celebrated the New Year side by side on the French Mediterranean coast. Keen on not living an extravagant lifestyle, the couple decided to travel there in economy class, on a public flight rather than taking a private jet, as recently reported in the Daily Mail.
1. Increased security: The bride and groom sat at the back of the plane on a scheduled British Airways flight to Nice. All security measures were evidently put in place so that the trip went without a hitch. The couple, who was wearing classic attire, had the seats around them reserved so that their bodyguard could travel with them.
2. Priority boarding: The couple had boarded the plane 20 minutes before the rest of the passengers. Upon arrival, the royal couple were greeted by French police. Even though they travelled in economy class, the bride and groom’s journey was still extremely different to that of the other passengers.
