Dyers reality show
According to reports, Danny and his family—including the oldest daughter and Love Island star Dani—have been offered £1 million to star in their own Kardashian-style reality series for Channel 4. The show would follow the lives of Danny, his wife Jo Mas and their three kids 25-year-old Dani, 14-year-old Sunnie, and eight-year-old Arty. Grandson Santiago—who is soon to turn one—could also make an appearance.
According to a telly source quoted by The Sun:
Channel 4 made him a lucrative offer that he’s been tempted by and he knows his family would make really lively, fun TV as they’re all so down-to-earth and people at home can relate to them.
The Dyers
Danny is no stranger to working with his family—he and Dani already have their own Spotify podcast Sorted With The Dyers, and they also worked together last year when Dani had a cameo appearance as a pregnant cab driver on EastEnders.
Meanwhile, this new show could give matriarch Jo a chance in the spotlight. Back in 2018, she hinted she’d be up for a family reality show, saying:
We've been offered a reality show, but Danny is contracted at the BBC. We have always joked about it. People do say we need a show in our house because there’s always a drama. One day we might do it.
Now that Danny is leaving EastEnders, it sounds like that day may have come!
