This product comes from China and there are two varieties: white and red tiger balm. White tiger balm is used for headaches, nasal congestion and insect bites whereas red tiger balm is used for pains caused by muscular and joint spasm. But tiger balm also has some quite unexpected uses, that we’ll reveal below.
Excessive and odorous perspiration, throat aches, minor burns, headaches (for which you need to massage it into your temples), travel sickness (apply the balm to your lips and just under your nose), to make it easier for you to breathe (apply it to your chest) and to soothe mosquito bites (apply the balm directly to the bite to stop the itching). Tiger balm also exterminates termites, helps you remove paint and can even help ease diarrhoea.
