You could make £3,250 in two weeks if you are willing to get infected with flu as part of a drug trial. Scientists conducting a human challenge study are looking for at least 100 volunteers to take part in the drug trial for H3N2 — the common strain of flu in the UK, DailyMail reports. Apart from being deliberately infected with flu, there are other considerations to make if you are thinking of signing up.

The catch
Researchers at FluCamp, which is running the trial are looking for healthy 18-55 year olds for the study. If you qualify, you will have to forfeit coffee, alcohol, chocolate and smoking for the two-week duration of the trial.
The scientists foresee volunteers suffering flu-symptoms such as headache, cough and fever and so will run 15 mins check-ups on you up to 10 times a day.
However, if chosen, you will be given your own room with en suite where you can work remotely, play videos or binge Netflix shows, according to DailyMail. On the website of FluCamp, it said:
If you take part in a residential stay you will have your own private room. Each room is equipped with everything you need to relax, including a flat screen TV, PlayStation 4, WiFi and en-suite bathroom.
You will be also be able to order free meals and snacks, such as burgers, lasagne and pizza, from a 24/7 menu.
The trial
What the researchers are seeking to do is test the efficacy of an antiviral to fight the virus, which constantly mutates ahead of every winter season. The name of the drug has not been released for commercial reasons.
If you are interested in this trial, you will first have to complete an online screening questionnaire to determine suitability. Then, there will be two in-person checks, including a blood test to ensure potential volunteers don’t already have antibodies against the H3N2 flu strain.
