To do this, Begoña Álvarez interviewed 28,000 participants and asked the following questions: did they experience a happier period than the others? If so, when did it start and when did it end? The results showed that the first four years of our thirties are, surprisingly, the happiest. As for those when we feel least fulfilled, they would be between our 10th and 14th birthdays.

Puberty, a difficult time!

As you may have noticed, these four years coincide with puberty and the onset of adolescence. This period is often marked by physical and emotional changes that are difficult to manage. What's more, this is the time when most teenagers start secondary school. School bullying is already widespread. A scourge that can have very serious consequences for its victims. Physiological changes, grade pressure and the social concerns of fitting into a group can also take their toll on teenagers' morale.
