Cellulite does NOT only affect women

While the female hormonal system favors the appearance of cellulite, men are also affected by this phenomenon. However, men's cellulite appears more often in the abdominal area.

Cellulite doesn't ONLY appear when you're overweight

Since cellulite is made up of fat cells, it obviously tends to appear more if you're overweight, (calculated by your BMI (body mass index). However, what triggers cellulite the most is poor elimination of fat and toxins. The estrogen hormone is to blame here as they enable fats and even water to stock within the body. So, realistically, cellulite can just as easily appear on a slim body. And yes, models are no exception.

You don't have to go on a diet to lose it

While a healthy, balanced diet can help you lose body fat, it doesn't necessarily guarantee the disappearance of cellulite. For this, nothing is better than sportand, if possible, massages to help drain thelymphatic system.

Green tea isn't full proof against cellulite

Some say that with its high dose of caffeine and polyphenol, green tea is ideal for combating orange peel skin. It's true that, thanks to its composition, green tea is a powerful fat burner. However, green tea is not the most effective ingredient. To reduce dimpled skin, simply drink plenty of water.

Men do NOT find cellulite unattractive

Women are often obsessed with their cellulite. Social injunctions have led us to regard it as ugly. And, somehow, women get it into their heads that men feel the same way. But that's not true. In fact, most men don't notice cellulite, and 26% of them find cellulite 'cute'. At least, that's what the survey Il m'aime comme je suis(He likes me the way I am) conducted by French publication, Madame Le Figaro in 2009 revealed.
