Nothing beats a handwritten letter and we can’t be convinced otherwise. While more and more people are romanticizing and thus, bringing back handwriting that was deemed a battle lost to keyboards and touch pads, there’s a lot that your handwriting could give away about you. Graphology is a blend of art and science. It is a science because it measures the structure and movement of the written forms - slants, angles and spacing are accurately calculated and the pressure is observed in magnification and with precision. And it is an art because the graphologist has constantly to keep in mind the total context in which the writing is taking place: the 'gestalt' of the writing as a whole.
Moreover, the infographics published by the National Pen Company suggest that your handwriting could give away about 5,000 different personality traits based on the way you write. Those include the following.
Size
Small size letters - not that size doesn’t matter, we’re not getting into that, but people with small handwriting tend to be introverted and bookish.
Super small size letters – they know what they are doing, they have an agenda and it’s usually not up to anything good.
Average size letters – you are grounded and adaptable. Nothing could throw you off, well, except people one category above you, yes I am talking about you super small-size letter people, just write bigger!
Direction
To the right – you are an open social butterfly, but also a people pleaser at the same time.
To the left – you don’t mind spending time alone, in fact, you enjoy it, and you might be an Aquarius.
Centered – you are logical, practical, and honest.
The way you dot your ‘i’s
Dot high above the base – you have great imagination and you are very creative.
Dot closer to the base – you are organized and have a high sense of feeling the emotions of those around you.
Dot inclining to the left – you’re an oddly successful procrastinator.
Circled dots – you’re a golden retriever person.
Pressure
Heavy pressure – people with darker and thicker handwriting are very committed and responsible, but ironically, don’t take criticism lightly.
Light pressure – you are very sensitive and empathic, but lack vigour.
Speed
Quick writing – if there is anything you hate more in life, it is having to wait and waste time.
Slow writing – you are disciplined and self-reliant.
