Everything was going well for Lauren Wall. She had been in a relationship for a few months with Paul White, and the even had a baby girl together. The couple decided to take the next step and getting married. After the wedding, the two jetted off on their honeymoon. The young woman told The Mirror:

Paul always got on really well with Mum. I never thought it strange though, as she was his mum-in-law and he was just being friendly. They’d laugh a lot together.
Her mum got a bit too close to her husband
Lauren’s mother had paid for their wedding so she even came on the honeymoon with them as a thank you. But it turns out she actually had an agenda… Julie, the mother of the bride, was actually interested in Paul! Even though everything was going well at first, the situation got worse over time. Lauren said her husband’s behaviour changed a lot after they got back off their honeymoon.
The ink on their marriage certificate had barely dried when Paul started to change. He would often stay out for hours at a time and became very protective of his phone. And then, four weeks after their wedding, Lauren found out why.
Her sister discovered the secret
It was Lauren’s sister who discoveredtheir secret. After using her mother’s phone, she found very suggestive messages proving Lauren's husband’s infidelity with his wife’s mother! Lauren said:
Mum denied everything, saying, ‘You're crazy!’ When I confronted Paul he went white as a sheet - and refused to let me see his phone. I felt like my world had ended. I was a 19-year-old kid with a kid.
He left his wife for her mother
After Paul left Lauren, he moved in with Julie so they could start their life together. He completely abandoned the daughter he had with Lauren and a few months later, Julie gave birth to a little boy, Lauren’s half-brother.
I couldn’t believe the two people I loved and trusted most in the world could betray me like this. It was sick. It’s one of the worst things a mum can do to a daughter. Paul may have been a gutless groom but she’s my mum. She’s meant to love and protect me above all others. Instead, she stole my husband, shattering my family and my dreams. For that, I’ll never truly forgive her.
Lauren recently decided to go public with the story. We hope she can get her life back under control and that her relationship with her mother andex-husband, who is now the father of her half-brother, has improved, or eased at least. Check out the video above for more information.
