A tradition old as time itself
Everyone knows the bridal tradition of the bride throwing her bouquet over her shoulder once the bride and guests are at the reception. The idea is that the women invited to the wedding swarm to catch the bouquet—tradition claims that the lucky guest who catches the bouquet will be the next one to walk down the aisle.
So, it is often assumed that every single woman who goes to a wedding will really want to catch the bouquet in the hopes that she, too, will soon find her Mr. Right. Although the tradition may carry on, it's not as highly regarded as it used to be—who needs a man anyways?! But if anything, it's just an excuse to let your competitive nature take over for a few minutes, and to win a nice bouquet to ornate your living room! Who doesn't like free things?
