Birds Eye is recalling one of their frozen chicken products as a precautionary measure due to the possible presence of pieces of red plastic. This makes the products unsafe to eat. Customers who bought any of the affected packs should not consume them and instead can return them to store and get a full refund.

Which products are affected?
The product recall affects packs of Birds Eye 4 Chicken Burgers with Golden Wholegrain 200g with the best before date April 2022. The batch codes affected are: L1022 V U124, L1022 W U124, and L1022 X U124. You can find both the best before date and batch code on the product packaging.
If you have bought any of these products, you should not eat them. Instead, return them to the store where you bought them to get a full refund. You are entitled to a refund even if you no longer have the receipt. You can also request a refund online by going to www.birdseye.co.uk/contact-us and sending a photo of the packaging showing the batch code along with your contact details.
