McDonald's customer shocked after finding this bizarre thing in his burger

A customer at McDonald's in France was unpleasantly surprised to find his order ticket inside his burger. As reported by the local daily La Charente Libre, Jérôme, a man in his thirties who went to the American fast-food restaurant on Friday 18 March, was slightly disappointed to find his order ticket inside his burger, stuck to a slice of melted cheddar.

The incident occurred in the early evening, at around 8:30 pm. The man, who lives in the neighbouring town of Magnac-Lavalette, picked up his order at the drive-through of McDonald's in Soyaux, before going to meet friends for the evening.

'Thank you for reminding me of my order number in the burger' Jérôme laughed after this mishap, which was captured on camera. The disappointed customer then contacted the restaurant in question, without having received any response. When contacted by the local media, Laurent Terrisse, owner of five McDonald's stores in the department, replied:

This customer posted a comment on Facebook, but to my knowledge has not called us. We will therefore reply to him directly.

The boss added that the incident was taken 'very seriously', and added:

We would like to remind you that hygiene and quality of service are our top priorities (...) In accordance with the procedures in force in the company, we have done everything necessary to shed light on the facts reported.
