McDonald's : Menu items that failed miserably with fans

Many foods have been tried and tested, and with time, discontinued soon after being introduced to the McDonald’s menu a while ago, like the Frito burger. Yes, there was actually a burger with a Frito-like element in it. Year after year, the fast food company introduces new products that shape the fast food industry, but some of these new items from theMcDonald’s menus just points out a miserable failure as displayed on Insider. Some items survived for years in the market, like its coffee, but some just didn't do well from the first day. Here are some of the menu items that failed and have a bad report written about it:

Hula Burger

Being one of the earliest fast-food flops, even cheese, a tall glass of Pepsi, Coca cola or coffee can’t save the hula burger. To rejuvenate sales, founder Ray Kroc came up with this meatless burger invention, with a ring of pineapple instead of a patty. Needless to say, Kroc failed with this experiment that replaced meat with pineapple patties, sliced cheese, and buns. It was a discontinued product, as it received a lot of bad comments from its customers, which was bad for business. Luckily, it didn't make it to the www era, cause it is a recipe for a bad written report on Insider. People are even confused as to where the source of this idea was even created from. But what fans know is that it should have been cut at the source.

Arch Deluxe

The Arch Deluxe looks normal but failed miserably with the consumers. If you google it, you know that this unconventional burger features pepper bacon in the burger. It bombed primarily because of the overhype created around it when the company had a $100 million marketing campaign for it. Not even a tall glass of cola or coffee can save it from getting a written a negative report. When McDonald's introduced this item, even extra cheese, Pepsi couldn't save this sandwich or give it the sales that justify the million-dollar business marketing. And it should have been withdrawn years ago, due to its bad written reports from around the world. No brownie points for this invention, as the chain didn't even get it right from the source. And it's one of those products that points out that it can't even be enjoyed post a night of heavy drinking.

Super Size

When McDonald's introduced the super-size menu back in 1993, people initially liked it, and it hit high points. But after a documentary report that was released in 2004 about the negative points of McDonald's by credible sources, the chain had it pull it from the menu. As per Business Insider, this documentary that released showed how such huge portions can negatively affect the market and the people, and the years it could cut down from people's lives. If you google the portion sizes of this sandwich or Pepsi / Cola, it will make sense why they pulled it off the menu years ago. This points out that not every product by the company serves the time or is written in its stars.

McDonald's Pizza

You might think that you can't go wrong with pizza, but that is just far from the truth. McDonald's moved away from the classic sandwich and burger and ventured into the world of pizza, which points out to be a poor decision. The pizza, just like the McSpaghetti proved long ago that the Italian food created by McDonald's was not a successful product. No matter what you wash it down with, Coca-cola, Pepsi, or coffee, nothing points to success. It just didn't make sense for its consumers. The source, although Italian, left its consumers dumb as a post after eating it. Google it to know more.
