McDonald’s fans can expect some major menu changes this spring, as the fast-food giant is having another round of huge menu shake-up right in time for warmer days.

As reported by Mirror, while McDonald's fans can start enjoying new burgers such as Steakhouse Stack as well as the returning fan favourite Chicken Big Mac burger, they will sadly have to big farewell to some popular menu items. Here are all the details.

McDonald’s axing many menu items
From Wednesday 29 March, McDonald’s fans will no longer be able to enjoy five of the brand’s popular menu items which were introduced last season. These are:
- Grand Big Mac, which features 100% beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles and Big Mac sauce in a sesame topped bun
- Grand Big Mac with Bacon
- Chilli Cheese bites, which are cheese bites in a crispy batter, served with a rich tomato dip
- Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and
- Galaxy Caramel McFlurry
Fans will undoubtedly miss these popular items, specially the hit Grand Big Mac burger. So if you want to enjoy any of them one last time before they get discontinued, today is the last day to do so!

McDonald’s new menu items
However, fans need not despair as McDonald’s is introducing new menu items including two burgers. The new burger, Steakhouse Stack Steakhouse Steak is a beef burger with two 100% beef patties, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce topped with a peppercorn sauce, in a freshly toasted bun.
McDonald's is also bringing back their iconic Chicken Big Mac. The Chicken Big Mac is made of two deliciously crispy coated chicken patties made with 100% chicken breast meat, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and tasty Big Mac sauce.
Both of these new items can be enjoyed by fans from March 29 onwards.
