Undeclared milk recalls
Asda, Tesco and Morrisons have all recalled products which contained undeclared milk in the past week. This means the products could pose a health risk to anyone who suffers from an allergy or intolerance to milk or any of its constituents, such as lactose. Milk is one of the fourteen allergens which must be declared by law.
Asda has recalled their Extra Special (Free From Gluten) Frozen Vegan Mushroom and Leek Pie (170g). This is because it may contain trace amounts of milk constituents which are not declared on the label. You can return the product to your nearest Asda for a full refund. There is no need to show your receipt.
Meanwhile, Tesco has recalled a specific batch of their Tesco Free From 4 Toffee & Vanilla Cones. Boxes of this product with the Best Before End date of 07/2022 and the batch code L10233L1 may contain milk. Again, you can return this product to your nearest Tesco for a full refund with no need for a receipt.
Undeclared wheat, barley, hazelnut, milk and soya
Finally, Morrisons is recalling certain packs of Nutella Ferrero B-ready (6 Pack) after they were sold without English allergy labelling. This product contains the allergens wheat, barley, hazelnut, milk and soya but some packs were labelled in Polish. If you bought a pack with Polish labelling, you can return it to your nearest Morrisons for a refund, no need for a receipt.
